最近想做监控，于是打起了OPENNMS的主意。到OPENNMS官方网站上找到官方文档，其中YUM安装方式还是最容易。下面都是安装步骤（基本上都是官网英文资料）：

环境：CentOS 5.1

    万众期待下，Windows XP sp3终于出来了，抢着第一时间，打上了SP3，结果却是不免有所失望。

      1.由于我公司网络使用了802.1x身份验证协议来对公司电脑进行身份验证，如果有验证成功可以登陆公司网络，如果验证失败则无法登陆公司网络。在Windows XP sp2下这个验证系统安全稳定的运行了很长一段时间。sp3的出现却让我郁闷至极：安装完XP sp3后，我发现在802.1x身份验证这一块，Microsoft将其分为了有线和无线两个服务来运行，其分别对应"Wired AutoConfig"和"Wireless Zero Configuration"两个服务。在SP2中，无论是无线还是有线都由"Wireless Zero Configuration"提供服务。开启"Wired AutoConfig"服务后，在本地连接中设置好验证选项，连上网络，刚开始验证通过，但第二次验证时，总是失败，使用很多方法仍然不行。最终无奈之下，将SP3卸载，在SP2下使用802.1X身份验证，一切正常。致电Microsoft客服中心，所给的解决方案全部失败。公司成百上千台电脑目前只能卸载SP3，这是一个极大的工作量，郁闷中。

    2.公司使用WMWARE虚拟化技术，当在XP SP3上安装VMWARE CLIENT是没有任何响应，无法安装，遂尝试安装VMWARE WORKSTATION，安装过程一切正常，安装完成后运行程序，还是无法运行，点击图标没有任何反应。最后找来一台SP2的机器，同样的环境再安装WMWARE CLIENT和WMWARE WORKSTATION，一切正常。目前没有找到原因。

    SP3的到来不但没有让我感觉XP有任何的改进，反而是让我进退两难。就我个人而言，SP3还真是鸡肋！
